Our Commitment to Child Safety
Every child has the right to participate safely in sport
Airport Saints Netball Club is committed to Child Safety and has adopted Netball Victoria's Commitment to Child Safeguarding Statement.
Every person in the netball community has a responsibility to understand their role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people in our care.
We are committed to promoting and protecting the rights of children and preventing abuse from occurring by fostering a culture where children feel safe and empowered.
We also seek to ensure the cultural safety of First Nations children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with a disability.
Who is responsible for child safety at our club?
Everyone associated with the club has a responsibility to create a welcoming, supportive and safe environment for all members, and for young members in particular.
Please contact the club at airportsaints@gmail.com with any Child Safety issues; with serious allegations please direct to Netball Victoria.
